NEC Nijmegen have been boosted by the news that Brett Holman´s ankle injury is not as serious as they had feared.

Australia striker Holman sustained the injury during Sunday´s Eredivisie victory against Willem II and was taken to hospital immediately after the game.

"They suspect that there is a problem with the ankle tendon," Holman told De Gelderlander newspaper. "My foot was locked when I tried to walk, because of that my ankle twisted. I immediately felt that it was not right. I wanted to play on, but every step hurt."
