It is not the first time that Mesut Ozil has been linked away with a move to Turkish side Fenerbahce, back on transfer deadline day rumours were rife that his agent was in talks with a Fenerbahce representative.
This was treated as pure fabrication by Arsene Wenger and understandably so. The transfer deadline had passed for Turkish sides to sign players that made the speculation bordering on laughable.
According to Ozil's agent, the player will receive a "serious" offer from the Turkish giants. That being said, it would be a miracle if they could manage to lure away the 26-year old who is a permanent fixture in the Arsenal squad since his arrival in 2013 from Real Madrid.

Fenerbahce move a possibility?
His agent, Erkut Sogut, was quoted in the Daily Star: "Fenerbahce are serious but it all depends on what answer Arsenal give. It will all become clear at the end of the season."
As Arsenal found out in the previous transfer window, it is all very well wanting to sign a player, but without both parties interested in conducting business, any deal is dead in the water.
Ozil's performances have drawn mixed emotions from Arsenal fans, but the statistics don't lie, he is one of the most creative footballers in world football. If a player like Ozil became available, you would imagine that bigger clubs than Fenerbahce would become very interested.
Ozil clearly needs to add goals to his game; he has only managed nine premier league goals in 52 games. However he has never been that prolific, he is more of a creative, supporting attacking midfielder. This is highlighted by the 16 assists and 166 chances he has created in those 52 games.
His performances last season helped Arsenal finish third behind Chelsea and Manchester City, he also contributed to Arsenal retaining their FA Cup, which is no easy feat.
