WWE have advertised Sting for tonight's episode of Raw at Laredo, Texas at the Laredo Energy Arena. This comes after the WCW Icon picked up an injury during his match last night against Seth Rollins.
Sting picked up a significant neck injury during his WWE World Heavyweight Championship match against Rollins last night at the Night of Champions pay-per-view and many fans are fearing the worst.
This wasn't part of the script and the bout was scheduled to be longer than what it was, but it had to be cut short by Rollins, who performed a small package pin on the Sting that allowed the WCW icon to remove himself from the danger of further injury.

The WWE have released a statement on their website confirming the injury:
"Sting reportedly sustained an injury Sunday night during his WWE World Heavyweight Title Match against champion Seth Rollins.

According to NoDQ, PWInsider has now reported that Sting will appear at Monday Night Raw tonight and not fly home as previously scheduled. However, plans could change at the last minute as they always do in the WWE, but if Sting was to appear, many fear it could be to announce his retirement.
This would be such a disaster for the WWE, as The Icon has only wrestled at two pay-per-views since signing for the WWE and has lost both matches. It would be a shame if he had to retire without winning a single pay-per-view match in the company.
The hope with many fans will be that Sting is just out for a little while, possibly until WrestleMania 32, and that the injury he picked up last night is not a career-ending one that will force him to retire.
