For years, the WWE and UFC have been the top promotions within their respective industries, but recently the lines have become blurred.
It could be argued that the WWE are currently lacking any form of real competition in the wrestling world and UFC now poses as the only real competition to them.
An upcoming collision?
The two companies have been closer than ever in recent months and much to the delight of the fans, we have seen Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania and will once day see CM Punk inside the octagon.

The fans may love it but you can guarantee one man who isn't a fan of how close the two have become is UFC President Dana White.
White has been among the WWE headlines this year after firstly saying that it is unlikely that Rousey will appear at WrestleMania 32 and then getting into a Twitter row after labelling WWE fake.
Well it now seems that White has taken another sly jab at WWE and more importantly, the Chairman Vince McMahon.
Speaking during the UFC 193 fan Q&A, White was asked for his prediction on the upcoming Aldo-McGregor bout.
After giving a bit of praise to each of his fighters, he would then finally give his prediction...
"My prediction is — I don’t know what’s going to happen. If I knew what was going to happen, I’d be Vince McMahon. I don’t know what’s going to happen.” - White's jab at McMahon
So another shot fired towards the WWE from White and it will surely be more difficult for him to wave this one off as easily as he did the last one.
Not the last?
The idea that this may not be the last time we see UFC and WWE come together is quite exciting as fans.
The questions continue to surface over a possible appearance from Rousey at WrestleMania but one thing that is confirmed is that former WWE Champion CM Punk will make an appearance in UFC.
It may be against the wishes of the WWE and McMahon after Punk left the company, but it still signifies a big swoop for UFC against their rival.
