All sport - Freddie Roach: This is why Amir Khan can't beat Pacquiao

Published Add your comment

Amir Khan might be supremely confident over his chances of winning a potential fight against Manny Pacquiao, but the Filipino’s trainer, Freddie Roach, has said his fighter is too quick and too strong. Roach said Khan couldn’t beat Manny, insisting that they would have the fight wherever promised the most money. In cricket, Alfonso Thomas is to depart Somerset at the end of the season after almost eight years with the club. The fast bowler joined back in 2008, but Somerset have confirmed this campaign will be his last with them. Meanwhile in F1, speculation is mounting that Jenson Button is going to retire from the sport after the 35-year-old delivered a cryptic message to the press. Button said the joy of racing was only there if you were competing near the front, which, at the moment at least, he isn’t. Lastly, both Diego Costa and Gabriel have been charged in the wake of their clash during the Arsenal v Chelsea match last weekend.
