Recent rumors have suggested Chris Jericho will not be featured on WWE television again this year, other than the Madison Square Garden event, meaning a WrestleMania program is a possibility, likely between Y2J and Dean Ambrose.
PWInsider has reported, according to Cageside Seats, what the future status of Jericho at the WWE holds.
Cageside Seats said: "Though they're definitely setting up a possible angle between Chris Jericho & Dean Ambrose, it likely won't be addressed until 2016. PWInsider reports Y2J isn't booked for any more televised dates this year (not counting the Madison Square Garden show) and Fozzy is touring in November & December. A WrestleMania program is a possibility."

Jericho made his first TV appearance in the WWE since The Beast in the East Network special back in July last weekend at Night of Champions, when he was revealed as the mystery partner for Ambrose and Roman Reigns for their match against The Wyatt Family.
Y2J ended up costing the match for Reigns and Ambrose by tagging himself in while The Big Dog was lining up to spear a weakened Brawn Strowman. He ended up being put in a sleeper hold by Strowman. After the match was lost, Jericho shoved his way past Ambrose and Reigns and made his way towards the back.
It has been speculated that Reigns will be involved in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship picture by WrestleMania next year. If this turns out to be true, Ambrose will need something to do too and having him revive this feud with Jericho because of the loss would be great.
The best outcome for this feud would be for Jericho to put over the former Shield member. Ambrose, whether WWE fans like it or not, is dangerously close to slipping down towards the card and not be the main eventer many people would like him to be.
A win against a former WWE Champion at the biggest show of the year could give the WWE the confidence to have Ambrose feud for the main prize in the company on a regular basis in the future.
