Albelda talks down Aragones speculation

Spain midfielder David Albelda has played down coach Luis Aragones´ refusal to talk to the press following Wednesday´s 2-0 Euro 2008 qualifying win over Latvia.

Spain´s performance did not go down well with the home supporters, who vented their frustrations during the game, not least when Aragones substituted locally-born striker David Villa in the second half.

After the match Aragones did not make any comment to the media, but when asked if something had occurred in the changing rooms following the game, Valencia captain Albelda said: "Nothing has happened, we have won the game which is what we wanted and that is it."
