Barcelona striker Eidur Gudjohnsen has been passed fit to play for Iceland in their Euro 2008 qualifier against Northern Ireland on Wednesday.

Gudjohnsen missed Saturday´s 1-1 draw with Spain due to a knee injury but Barca´s medical team has declared him fit for the midweek clash in Belfast.

The former Chelsea man is also expected to come into contention for the Catalan giants´ trip to Osasuna on Sunday having missed the start of the Primera Liga season.
