Italy and AC Milan striker Alberto Gilardino has rejected reports that he could feature in a swap deal with Internazionale forward Adriano.
Brazilian Adriano has been omitted from Inter´s Champions League squad because of poor form while Gilardino has failed to reach with the Rossoneri the level he showed at previous club Parma.
However, the 25-year-old Gilardino, a member of Italy´s World Cup winning squad, insisted the rumours were without foundation.
