Italy striker Antonio Cassano limped out of Sampdoria´s friendly with Swiss side Bellinzona on Sunday.

Cassano, 25, was recently signed on a year´s loan by the Genoa club from Real Madrid but, after being frozen out of the first team in Spain, had been out of condition.

Cassano pulled a muscle in the 44th minute of the match and immediately replaced by Samp coach Walter Mazzarri. There is no word as yet on the extent of any damage.
