Scotland overcame Lithuania to profit from Italy´s goalless draw with France and remain on course for the Euro 2008 finals in Austria and Switzerland.

Scotland beat Lithuania 3-1 in Glasgow, and finish the day one point behind Group B leaders France, who drew 0-0 with world champions Italy at the San Siro.

Kris Boyd´s opener was cancelled out by a dubious penalty converted by Tomas Danilevicius at Hampden.
