If Brendan Rodgers is at all worried about his future at Liverpool Football Club then it’s probably best that he stays off of the internet this week. Mass speculation is building suggesting that the Reds have been in contact with jobless Carlo Ancelotti over the possibility of him becoming their new manager, with the Daily Mail flying the flag in England. It’s purported that Liverpool are considering replacing Rodgers with the former Real Madrid boss due to their unhealthy start, although seemingly the rumours do originate from Italian source Calciomercato, so we won’t hold our breath. Moving on, Lucas Leiva has admitted he would have left Liverpool had he not started against Arsenal earlier this season. During the latter stages of the transfer window he was hotly linked with a move away but, given his chance against the Gunners, the Brazilian did enough to earn a place in Rodgers’ plans.
