With security breaches becoming an increasingly frequent occurence in the WWE in recent weeks, Chris Jericho has spoken out today to issue a stern warning to any fans contemplating joining the craze in the near future.
On the day when the fan who interrupted Jericho's Night of Champions match was sentenced to 10 days in jail, the veteran wrestler has seized the opportunity to address the situation.
His message, seen below, is stern and to the point, but considering there have been no less than four occasions in the past month where fans have invaded the ring, it is much needed.

Instances of fans jumping the barricades to get in on the action are not a new thing in the WWE, but the rate at which they are happening at present is becoming a major issue.
With former employees having called for increased security, and the WWE themselves vowing to take necessary action, Jericho will hope his message will help return order to the organization's live events.
Punishment fit the crime?
The traditional method of detering fans from getting inside the squared circle was for the WWE to issue lifetime bans to the perpetrators. Today's news, then, that fans now risk jail time for seeking their 15 seconds of fame is certainly a sign that the WWE mean business.
Some may argue it is a step too far, however, whilst Sunday's incident didn't pose any threat to the wrestlers involved, previous attempts have seen fans wield knives and other weapons.
Something had to be done, and perhaps this is a step in the right direction.
