Radamel Falcao takes awful free-kick for Chelsea

Published 5 Comments

If Radamel Falcao was ever going to catch a break then surely 90 minutes against League One outfit Walsall would bear fruit. Unfortunately, the Colombian still managed to come up short.

Having failed to impress at Manchester United, plenty of people–including Chelsea fans–were surprised to see Jose Mourinho offer him another chance in the Premier League.

However, with the season just over a month old, it is already looking like a similar story for Falcao. He has managed a solitary goal for the Blues but it, unfortunately, came during a 2-1 loss to Crystal Palace and has since been forgotten.

With his confidence at an all-time low, Falcao stood up to take a promising free-kick against Walsall. It was a chance to kick-start his stalling career. He failed, failed spectacularly. It was so bad that even Chelsea's biased Twitter account couldn't ignore it.

Looking ominous

Falcao already looks set to experience a similar season at Stamford Bridge to the one he had at Old Trafford. The 29-year-old had been tasked with providing competition to Diego Costa, but it now looks like Loic Remy has moved ahead of him in the pecking order.

As at Manchester United, Falcao looks more likely to start an Under-21 tie than a Premier League game for the Blues.

Do Chelsea fans have ANY faith left in Radamel Falcao?
