NEC Nijmegen have signed 21-year-old striker Tim Janssen from RKC Waalwijk for an undisclosed fee, subject to a medical.

Janssen will sign three-year contract, with the option for two more years, and coach Mario Been is pleased they managed to ward off interest from other Eredivisie clubs.

Been said: "Tim is a talented player who can score goals and who has a great future ahead. Besides that it´s good to see that he choose to play at NEC despite all the other clubs who were interested in him."
