Benjamin Franklin once proclaimed the only certainties in life are death and taxes, but the sixth President of the United States never lived to know of Vince McMahon.
Had he been around today, Franklin would have learnt that the WWE CEO's regular 'freak outs' are as certain as either paying the tax man or kicking the bucket.
Whether frustrated at the wrestlers he employs, or the state of WWE finances there is always something that irks McMahon. And now, courtesy of the Wrestling Observer's Bryan Alvarez, we know the cause of his latest meltdown.

According to Alvarez, speaking on the latest instalment of Wrestling Observer Live, McMahon is "freaking out" about the recent decline in WWE TV ratings.
After a strong start to the year buoyed by the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania, the WWE's ratings are in something of a slump, and it appears Vince McMahon is furiously searching for an explanation.
As Alvarez notes, however, this exact 'freak out' is a regular occurrence that happens around this time ever year - presumably because most of the WWE's biggest pay-per-views are behind them at this stage of the cycle.
But, rather than accept that the WWE may have to bide its time before seeing a natural return to big ratings, the same report warns that McMahon could be about to implement some sort of "big change" in the near future.
What that change could be is unclear, but the fact that a whole host of WWE legends have recently been announced to appear on October 19th's RAW episode may be part of the plan.
