The UEFA Super Cup match between Sevilla and AC Milan will go ahead on Friday, despite the death of Antonio Puerta.
Sevilla wing-back Puerta collapsed on the field after suffering a cardiac arrest during Saturday´s Primera Liga game against Getafe but passed away in hospital on Tuesday afternoon.
Sevilla´s Champions League qualifier against AEK Athens on Tuesday evening was immediately postponed, as was next Monday´s La Liga clash with Osasuna but the Monte Carlo game will go ahead on Friday, however, with tributes planned to mark the 22-year-old´s passing.
