Valencia have reached a deal to sign Portugal midfielder Manuel Fernandes.
The 21-year-old product of Benfica´s youth academy, who has had loan stints with Portsmouth and Everton, will sign for six years.
A statement posted on the www.valenciacf.es website read: "Valencia have reached an agreement, pending medical tests, for the signing of Portuguese midfielder Manuel Henrique Tavares Fernandes for six years with a buyout clause of 60 million euros. The 21-year-old midfielder, a product of the Benfica youth academy, will be presented in the next few days by the Mestalla club."
