Rampant Juventus crush Livrono

Published Add your comment

After a year of exile in Serie B, Claudio Ranieri´s Juventus began their first campaign back in the top flight with a 5-1 win over Livorno.

Hat-trick hero David Trezeguet set the wheels in motion in the 26th minute and a second-half double from substitute Vincenzo Iaquinta guaranteed the three points for the home side.

Trezeguet put the icing atop the cake with two more goals in the last three minutes to take Juve top of the table, despite a consolation goal from Massimo Loviso in stoppage time.
