Francesc Fabregas sends message to Mathieu Flamini after Arsenal heroics

Published Add your comment

Francesc Fabregas is always going to have roots at Arsenal, which is why it’s relatively unsurprising to see him hailing former teammate Mathieu Flamini on social media. Fabregas posted a picture to his Instagram account praising Flamini for his match-winning performance in the north London derby earlier this week, captioning it ‘I always knew you had an eye for goal’. Given the way he’s started this season it’s probably fair to assume the Chelsea man is wishing to harness shades of his old friend moving forward. In other news, Jose Mourinho has claimed he was happy with the performance of Radamel Falcao during the Blues’ Capital One Cup victory over Walsall mid-week. In the eyes of many the Colombia international was disappointing as he failed to impress against the lowly opposition, but Mourinho said it was a good game.
