GMS round-up: Biggest stories of the week

Published Add your comment

Hello and welcome to GiveMeSport, here we count down the top three biggest stories of the week, as made clear by you, the fans. Enjoy. Coming in at number three it’s Linda Pizzuti Henry responding to a Liverpool fans’ tweet attempting to trick her into wishing Carlo Ancelotti a happy birthday. John W Henry’s wife was too smart, and tweeted the fan back saying ‘clever’. At number two we’ve got Arsenal fans reacting to the news that the FA wouldn’t be sanctioning Mike Dean for his performance during the Gunners’ 2-0 loss to Chelsea. Comments ranged from humorous to frankly abusive. Safe to say the north London supporters were not a happy bunch. And in at number one, it’s a story originating from ESPN, who claimed that Anthony Martial made a huge impression on his teammates during his very first Manchester United training session. It’s believed he caught the eye in a similar fashion to Adnan Januzaj. No mean feat given his tender years.
