England lack winner mentality: Lehmann

Published Add your comment

Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann has claimed England are mentally inferior to his native Germany ahead of Wednesday´s friendly between the countries.

Germany hold an edge over their rivals through the years having overcome England in several penalty shoot-outs and other important matches.

And Lehmann - who yesterday gifted Blackburn a 1-1 draw by spilling David Dunn´s shot into his own net - believes Germany´s history of success gives them a psychological advantage.
