Daniel Sturridge returned to goalscoring form for Liverpool yesterday, with two goals in a 3-2 win against Aston Villa.
The England international returned from a six-month injury lay-off in the draw with Norwich City last weekend and was back amongst the goals at Anfield to fire the Reds to a vital win.
The 26-year-old had surgery on a hip problem in May and looked back to his best on a crucial afternoon for Brendan Rodgers and Liverpool.

After the game, the forward took to Instagram to post a message to his supporters, saying: "Ima Count my blessings... Result was a wavedown, 3 points in the bag. #redordead #dstudge"
Sturridge has been limited to 19 appearances in all competition since scoring 21 goals in 29 league games as Liverpool came close to their first Premier League title in the 2013-14 season.
His presence has been missed by the Anfield club, who finished in sixth place last season and have made a poor start to this campaign.
Despite making just 17 league appearances for the Merseyside club last season, the former Chelsea striker was still the Reds' top goalscorer - ahead of Mario Balotelli, Rickie Lambert and Fabio Borini.
Rodgers is under considerable pressure after a start that had seen the Reds pick up eight points in six games before their win yesterday.
However, the return to fitness of Sturridge could single-handedly save the Northern Irishman his job - if the forward can stay clear of injury and rediscover the form he showed in his first season and a half on Merseyside.
Here are some of the best responses to Sturridge's post.
