Italy´s 2006 World Cup-winning coach Marcello Lippi has warned Antonio Cassano to make the most of his loan move to Sampdoria if he wants to relaunch his career.

Italy international striker Cassano will be presented by the Genoa-based club on Saturday after a season-long loan move from Real Madrid was agreed earlier in the week.

Lippi, who stepped down after the World Cup win, told Sky: "Sampdoria is certainly not the last chance for Cassano but the moment has come when this boy must decide to make the most of the the chances he has been given, and what´s more in a club that seems ideally suited for him."
