Juventus midfielder Pavel Nedved has revealed he turned down an approach from Internazionale over the summer.

Despite the interest of the Scudetto winners, the former Czech Republic playmaker opted to remain in Turin as Juve bid to reclaim their place at European football´s top table after a season outside Serie A.

"I had several offers, including one from Inter," said 34-year-old Nedved. "But I am happy here and my intention was to stay at Juventus. I want to help Juve return to play in the Champions League. It would be fantastic to contribute to the team returning to such a great competition."
