Lyon coach Alain Perrin is desperate to add to his squad before the transfer window slams shut at the end of the month.

With key players Gregory Coupet and centre-back Cris (both knee) ruled out with long-term injuries, Perrin wants to add a goalkeeper and a defender to his squad.

The former Sochaux boss also appears keen to bolster his strikeforce, having seen Brazil international Fred claim earlier this week he wanted to quit Les Gones, and said: "With two weeks left until the closing of the transfer window, it is urgent to buy a central defender and a goalkeeper."
