Blackburn manager Mark Hughes is confident his team will clinch a place in the first round of the UEFA Cup along with the other British representatives.

A goal from striker Roque Santa Cruz in the fifth minute in Finland was enough to overcome MyPa in the second qualifying round first-leg match.

Hughes said: "I fancy us to finish the tie off strongly. You have to make sure when you come to these places you do not get embarrassed. I am reasonably pleased and we can now finish the job in two weeks."
