WWE: The Rock to face Triple H at WrestleMania 32

Published 4 Comments

The WWE are planning for WrestleMania 32 to be the biggest 'Mania in the company's history, this is a fact.

Huge WM32

It is why Brock Lesnar could go up against a returning Stone Cold Steve Austin, why John Cena could face The Undertaker, why the WWE wanted Ronda Rousey to face Stephanie McMahon, and why there is talk of The Shield meeting in a triple-threat match for the WWE World Championship.

And, after all that, it is why The Rock could make a comeback of his own, to face Triple H.

Rock vs HHH

According to a report from Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, The Rock vs Triple H is still penciled in to be going ahead in Dallas next year.

This has been the plan ever since WrestleMania last year, where The Rock and the aforementioned Rousey stood face to face with Triple H and Stephanie before clearing the ring, setting up a feud between the two sides.

The WWE wanted to go forward with the Triple H vs. Rock match and the hope was that it could go along with a McMahon vs. Rousey singles match. There was also talk of doing a mixed tag match or if UFC wouldn't allow Rousey to wrestle, just have her and Stephanie in the corners.

However, we have since learnt that Rousey won't be at 'Mania due to filming commitments for a movie, but the Rock vs HHH match will still be going ahead.

The seed for this match was planted on an episode of SmackDown back in October 2014, where the two got face-to-face. Check it out below...
