Published 5 Comments

Manchester United loanee Adnan Januazaj appears to be enjoying himself in the Bundesliga at German outfit Borussia Dortmund.

Following his season-long loan move to Thomas Tuchel's side just before the transfer deadline, the Belgian international has been in impressive form - and proved his class once again in his side's 2-2 draw with SV Darmstadt 98 yesterday.

Despite starting the game on the bench, the talented forward was sent on in place of Marco Reus just before the hour mark at Signal Iduna Park.

With Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scoring Dortmund's equaliser, Januzaj played a key role in helping his side take the lead. The exciting youngster played a delightful ball through to Aubameyang, who bagged his second goal of the game.

However, Dortmund failed to secure all three points as Aytac Sulu netted late on for SV Darmstadt 98.

Despite dropping points, it was another good showing for Januzaj, who appears to be going from strength-to-strength in Germany's elite division.

Right move?

In truth, Van Gaal's decision to send him out on loan may well pay off. There's no reason why Januzaj won't continue to learn the game at Dortmund and return to Manchester a more accomplished player.

Of course, the initial decision to hand him a temporary move appeared to be a strange one, but the form of Anthony Martial has changed the opinion of many in Manchester.

One thing is for sure: in Martial, Memphis Depay, Andreas Pereira and Janzuaj, United have a number of impressive forwards at the club.
