Arsenal may have recorded a smart victory over Leicester City at the weekend, but one man who was left unhappy after the result was Mesut Ozil. Arsene Wenger revealed after the game that the Germany star was, quote, ‘really upset’ at not having found the back of the net during the encounter. Alexis Sanchez struck three, with Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott adding the others, but Ozil’s search for his first Premier League goal of the season continues. Meanwhile, Kieran Gibbs has looked to boost the confidence of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, describing his teammate as being in the best shape of his life. The Ox missed large portions of last term through injury, but Gibbs has said the England international can be a vital part of Arsene Wenger’s plans now that he’s fighting fit.
