It has been rumoured for the past few months that WWE are hoping to bring back The Hardy's to have one final match with The Dudley's at some point this year.
This week rumours have reached boiling point after Jeff Hardy was "fired" from TNA because his contract is coming to an end and now it seems likely that he could be heading to WWE.
JEFF HARDY FIRED?
This week's episode of TNA saw Jeff Hardy fired from the company by Ethan Carter, Jeff had refused to help Carter earlier in the night and so Carter was furious with Jeff so he told him he would fire him later in the night.

Carter wanted Jeff to attack his own brother Matt and Rockstar Spud and when he refused Carter was furious. Later in the night Carter called out Hardy and told him that he if he wants to keep his job then he must beg for it. Hardy refused, he told him to just fire him.
He then told Hardy to get on his knees and kiss his belt as well as apologise, when Hardy again refused he fired him on the spot.
JEFF HARDY SET FOR A WWE RETURN?
Jeff Hardy left WWE back in 2009 and hasn't since been linked with a return to the company where he made his name because he has had a successful stint in TNA along with his brother Matt.
It was well documented that WWE was not hot on Hardy for a while because of his drug problem and that is a big reason the former WWE Champion can't be a part of TNA's overseas tours.
This wouldn't bother WWE's plans for the veteran superstar because it seems that their plan could be for just a one-off match with The Dudley Boys at TLC.
The last rumour of this nature suggested that WWE would be open to a return for Jeff Hardy but weren't too happy for a return for his brother Matt. In order for a TLC match to happen like the famous one from WrestleMania 17 then WWE would have to rehire both of the Hardy's if only for a one-off match.
As yet this is just a rumour, but given that Hardy has now been "fired" from TNA then that leaves him open to switching ship and if his contract is set to end then rumours will begin to circulate all over again.
