The next pay-per-view on the WWE calendar is Hell in a Cell, where Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker battle it out in the main event.
The WWE will definitely be looking to make this a strong card considering they have a star attraction in Lesnar appearing.
A mediocre match card and average matches will result in the event being a flop, which doesn’t reflect well when you look back and notice superstars such as Lesnar and The Undertaker were competing.

So far, there is only one match that has been confirmed for the event which takes place on October 25 in Los Angeles, California. The main event will be contested between Lesnar and The Undertaker in their so-called rubber match.
Lesnar ended the streak at WrestleMania before The Deadman returned 16 months later to set up a clash with Lesnar, defeating him in the process. Fans will definitely be tuning in to see which way this supposed final encounter goes. Here are the other matches we should expect to see at the Hell in a Cell event.
SETH ROLLINS © VS. KANE – WWE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
It’s clear this is the direction the WWE are going in right now.
Kane returned at Night of Champions and attacked Rollins and is now playing the role of both Corporate Kane and masked Kane. It’ll be interesting to see how they play this story out, but in the long-run it does look as if Kane will get himself a match with Rollins.
If it does go ahead then don’t expect to see Kane dethrone Rollins.
KEVIN OWENS © VS. RYBACK – WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP
One of the bigger surprised at Night of Champions was that Owens dethroned Ryback in their first meeting. So it’s inevitable that Ryback will pursue Owens – for the manner in which he won – as well as cashing in his rematch clause.
This could actually be a better feud than many expect. Owens’ heel tactics work in his favour whilst it also continues to help Ryback go over.
This is probably a lock for the event.
NEW DAY © VS. THE DUDLEY BOYZ – WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS
Another rematch from the Night of Champions pay-per-view. It does make sense for them to go at it again considering how their encounter earlier this month ended in a disqualification.
With the Dudley Boyz winning that match, they should rightfully have another shot at the champions. At the minute, this feud is gold. The fans adore Bubba Ray and D-Von so they have support from the fans, whilst the New Day are the hottest thing in the WWE right now.
It’s pure entertainment, and it would be stupid for the WWE not to book this match again.
CHARLOTTE © VS. NIKKI BELLA VS. PAIGE – WWE DIVA’S CHAMPIONSHIP
This rumoured match is one that’s been making rounds on the dirt-sheets for some time now.
Nikki Bella will get her rematch against Charlotte, that’s a guarantee. Whether it happens in a singles match or a triple threat match remains to be seen. Both options do make sense and they’re both tough first defences for Charlotte.
Nikki deserves her rematch whether we like it not. However, Paige has now also entered the frame after dropping her version of a ‘pipebomb’ last week on Monday Night Raw. Hopefully, that’s the start of things to come and we get a genuine revolution, not a forced one.
Again, it would be silly for the WWE not to capitalise on what Paige had to say, they need to make it a triple threat.
ROMAN REIGNS VS. BRAY WYATT
This one is a little trickier as the WWE could go down different avenues here.
We could always get a singles match between the two main men in this feud, Reigns and Wyatt. We might even see Braun Strowman compete for The Wyatt Family in a singles match against Reigns.
At the minute, however, it does look as if we could be heading towards another six-man tag team match. This means either Randy Orton or another mystery partner will side with Reigns and Dean Ambrose.
Any of these can work, if they do go with any of these then to get the full effect out of it then it should be contested inside of a cell. That would mark a perfect end to a competitive and entertaining feud.
At the minute, we have absolutely no idea who Cena will be feuding with next.
He’s only just recaptured his United States Championship so we should assume he’s bringing back his open challenge. There’s always a chance that Cena hosts a challenge at Hell in a Cell itself which would be a huge surprise and it would also make fans want to tune in.
NXT names will always be thrown around, with guys like Samoa Joe and Finn Balor the latest names that have been mentioned.
If we stick to the main roster, then somebody like Cesaro is probably the name that sticks out like a sore thumb. The both don’t have any feuds and they’ve put on fantastic matches in the past.
Why not have them put on another incredible match on a bigger stage?
