WWE round-up: The Rock to face Triple H at WrestleMania 32

Published 1 Comments

The WWE are pushing forward with their plans to have Triple H face off against The Rock at next year’s Wrestlemania, with the latter not a viable opponent to fight Brock Lesnar as a result. Rumours had inferred The Rock might face Lesnar, after both The Undertaker and Stone Cold Steve Austin were ruled out, but, according to reports, the plan is to have him fight Triple H instead. At least that’s what Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio thinks, and we’re inclined to agree with him out of excitement alone. Moving on, Jeff Hardy could be about to make an astonishing return to the WWE having been ‘fired’ from TNA. In this week’s episode of TNA Ethan Carter relinquished the services of Hardy, because he refused to attack his brother Matt. As a result rumours insist he could head back to Vince McMahon’s organisation, perhaps with his brother for one more showdown with the Dudley Boyz.
