Pittsburgh Steelers to be without Ben Roethlisberger for up to six weeks

Published 2 Comments

The Pittsburgh Steelers are to be without quarterback Ben Roethlisberger for as long as six weeks after the 33-year-old suffered a sprained MCL in his left knee on Sunday. ESPN report that an MRI revealed that the problem isn’t a tear of the ACL, which might have been far worse, but that Roethlisberger will still be missing for at least one month. One positive is that the Steelers did win yesterday’s clash against the St. Louis Rams - they’re now unbeaten in two since having lost their opening game against the New England Patriots. In the NBA Anthony Bennett has confirmed he has signed for the Toronto Raptors, ending days of speculation over his future. The 2013 overall number one draft pick tweeted confirmation of his next career step, and it’s claimed he has penned a one-year deal. That comes after rumours that Bennett and the Minnesota Timberwolves were discussing a buyout.
