Screaming Obscenities

Kuperstein also reported Grimes was "belligerent" and started screaming obscenities. She resisted arrest and head-butted an officer, which is likely what led to the charge of battery on a law enforcement officer. She also tried kicking an officer and started swinging her elbows as she resisted.

According to the Sun-Sentinel, Grimes was booked into jail in Miami-Dade County and later released on bond. The Sun-Sentinel also said she was treated for injuries to her knee, arm and forearm.

Head-Butting an Officer

Grimes was threatened with a taser, the Sun-Sentinel said as it cited the police report, and she complied. But when she was being transported for booking on a golf cart she started to resist again.

Grimes is outspoken, and she is a public figure around Miami. She hosts a radio show there, and has drawn the attention of the NFL with her criticisms, sometimes through her Twitter feed.

A video of the incident was uploaded on to YouTube last night. You can check it out below...
