Italy coach Roberto Donadoni believes AC Milan playmaker Kaka is the best player in the world.

The 25-year-old midfielder led the Rossoneri to the Champions League title last season and speculation has linked him with a move to Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid for a world-record fee.

Donadoni, who played at the San Siro for 10 years, has tipped the Brazil star to be awarded the Ballon d´Or, given to Europe´s top player each year, telling Gazzetta dello Sport: "Kaka is ready to win the Ballon d´Or. There´s no other player in the world as good as him."
