In the last few months, it has felt like not a week has gone by without the WWE dishing out some form of punishment to a member of their roster.
From blackballing Hulk Hogan over his racist comments, to reprimanding multiple Divas over offensive tweets, the WWE hierarchy has been kept busy by ill-discipline.
That trend continued yesterday with news that Hornswoggle had been suspended by the company after violating the WWE Wellness Policy. Now, 24 hours on, two theories have emerged as to just how Swoggle fell foul of the rules.

With many within the WWE Universe asking how Hornswoggle could have been suspended under a policy that is usually only applicable for wrestlers who are part of the travelling roster, PWInsider revealed two possibilities.
As relayed by NoDq.com:
"If the WWE learns of behavior or an arrest that would violate the company's Policy, that would be one way."
The same source also notes that the 4 ft 5 inch Superstar's name may have come up for random testing - a procedure that can take place at the wrestler's home, thus making his inactive road status irrelevant.
At this stage, the exact reason for Hornswoggle's 30-day suspension is unknown, meaning either of these two theories could be true.
Either way, regardless of how the suspension came about, it is unlikely to help the 29-year-old's chances of returning to in-ring action anytime soon.
