Luis Suarez will have to wait until Thursday to find out if he will be allowed to leave FC Groningen and join Ajax.
The Uruguay forward has been hankering after a move to Amsterdam all summer and took the matter to the abritration committee of the Dutch FA on Monday evening.
Ajax have to register their squad for the third qualifying round of the Champions League, in which they either face Slavia Prague, of the Czech Republic, or Slovak side MSK Zilnia, by Thursday.
