The last time the UFC headed to Houston, Texas Daniel Cormier fought his last fight at heavyweight, beating Roy Nelson. Can DC win again in Houston to defend his Light Heavyweight Title for the very first time. With the news of John Jones hearing will DC's focus be on the bout at hand or will he be distracted by the prospect of a rematch with former champ Jones.
In Part II we look at the return of Rashad Evans in a Light Heavyweight No.1 contender bout, a No.1 contender bout at Welterweight in the co-Main Event and in the Main Event we try and predict the outcome of the Light Heavyweight Title bout.
Ryan Bader v Rashad Evans
Bader (19-4) lobbied hard for a shot at Daniel Cormier after his victory over Johnson. Riding a four fight win streak Bader had to take a back seat to Gustafsson this time out. Bader instead gets a No.1 contender shot against the returning Rashad Evans.
Former champ Evans (19-3-1) is looking to return to action after a long lay off. Having not fought since Nov 2013 Rashad will hope to show no signs of ring rust to gain his third victory on the trot and put himself right back in the title picture.
Prediction: Evans by Decision

Johny Hendricks v Tyron Woodley
An exciting fight at 170lbs is set to take place as the co-Main Event. Likely to be a No.1 contender fight, Hendricks (17-3) takes on Woodley (15-3). Hendricks only two losses in the last ten have come at the hands of champions Lawler and GSP and has fought in Championship bouts in three of his last four fights.
Woodley on the other hand has not had his shot yet but is hoping a victory over Hendricks will get him to that level. Woodley is looking for three in a row and a potential title shot. With both guys elite wrestlers with KO power I expect a three round war.
Prediction: Woodley by Decision
Daniel Cormier v Alexander Gustafsson
Former Bellator Heavyweight Champ and newly crowned UFC Light Heavyweight Champ Daniel Cormier (16-1) is set to defend his belt for the first time against the man who took Jones the closest, Alexander Gustafsson (16-3).
Gus is coming off a brutal KO loss to Rumble Johnson while DC is coming off a third round stoppage of Rumble. It is set up for a DC win and I can't see it going any other way.
Prediction: Cormier by Submission
