Jose Mourinho's return to FC Porto did not go as planned with his Chelsea side falling to a 2-1 defeat last night.
The result heaped more misery on Mourinho after a poor start to the Premier League season that has seen his side pick up eight points in seven games.
However, the Portuguese manager insists his team played well at the Estadio do Dragao, but two 'ridiculous' mistakes cost them dearly.

The 52-year-old refused to criticise his players too much, saying, as per the Mirror: “I think it was a good performance with two ridiculous mistakes, and sometimes you make that kind of mistake and you are not punished. Tonight we were punished.
“The second goal, for us it’s a ridiculous mistake. We watch dozens and dozens of repetitions of Porto taking corners. I thought we were completely ready for that.
“And in a moment when the game was under control and we were preparing a change, to concede that goal. We had another similar mistake when they hit the post, but apart from that I think the performance was balanced."
Chelsea are still expected to advance from their group despite last night's defeat with home games against Porto and Dynamo Kiev to come.
They also have away games in Kiev and Tel-Aviv that should allow them to pick up the required points.
However, the Blues now sit third in Group G and their game in Kiev on October 20 has taken on added importance.
Mourinho is reportedly losing patience with Eden Hazard, Oscar and Nemanja Matic, and none of those players started last night's match.
But the pressure must be growing on the likes of Branislav Ivanovic and Cesc Fabregas after another below-par display.
