Sparta Prague are the team standing in the way of Arsenal if the 2006 runners-up are to reach the group stages of this season´s Champions League.

Arsene Wenger´s side, who lost to Barcelona in last year´s final, will find the going tough against last season´s Gambrinus Liga champions and will be disappointed not to have landed an easier tie in the draw for the third qualifying round.

An enthralling draw threw up many other intriguing clashes, with UEFA Cup winners Sevilla facing AEK Athens, Toulouse coming up against 2005 Champions League winners - and 2007 runners-up - Liverpool, Spartak Moscow taking on Celtic and Fenerbahce tackling Anderlecht.
