Lyon goalkeeper Gregory Coupet could be set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines after injuring his knee on Thursday.

The France international twisted his left knee in training and will undergo tests later in the day to determine the seriousness of the injury, read a Lyon statement published on their website, www.olweb.fr.

"It looks serious," Lyon´s club doctor Jean-Jacques Amprino is quoted as saying on www.l´equipe.fr. "It is a big pull. The interior ligament could have been affected."
