In little over six weeks, Manchester United supporters have seen both sides of a team who continue to defy the critics who believe they are simply not good enough to win the Premier League this season.

United could win silverware this season
With a team brimming with so much potential at this moment in time, supporters can be forgiven for dreaming the impossible - that United may well win a trophy or two this season, leaving their critics in the dust, scrabbling for excuses.
On the other hand, with just seven games played in the Premier League, some supporters might feel it best to wait until after Christmas before getting carried away.
What is very clear is that United have more strength in depth right now than many of their opponents and if they continue to use the criticism surrounding their football in a positive way, they could well go on to achieve great things as a team.
They must, in the meantime, stay focused and grow the momentum behind them into a spell of trophy-winning football performances.
