Even with a fresh-faced new WWE Divas Champion, this division seems to be a regular issue for the company's creative team.
In a nutshell, since the likes of Trish Stratus, Chyna and Lita left WWE, there has been a huge void left within the Divas area of the company and it does not look as though we will see anything to solve this problem anytime soon.
Lately it appears that whatever angle and whatever segment WWE comes up with for a number of its current female talent, the effect it has if any on the WWE Universe, quickly wears off.

Ultimately, Paige can try and sell herself as much as she likes with her mic work, Nikki Bella can continue to wear a smaller outfit each week and Charlotte can reference her Dad on several occasions, but all of this will never have a lasting effect on fans of WWE.
There was once a time when mixed tag team matches were some of the most exciting week in, week out, and when Divas matches were something to look forward to as they had an on-going story line which had everyone's attention.

Couple this with the in-ring ability the WWE Divas had ten to 15 years ago and it is easy to see why the company finds it hard now to produce something which has such an impact as the division did then.
This is why therefore, the most simple and effective answer in what could give the current female roster some hope within WWE would be to bring back someone like Trish Stratus even for a one-off appearance.
Members of the WWE Universe would be well aware of the role models wrestlers such as Stratus and Lita are to the likes of Charlotte, Paige, Becky Lynch and even The Bella Twins, meaning having them together in one ring would be extraordinary.
In addition, these ex-WWE superstars are still certainly in great shape and, despite their hectic schedules would surely jump at the chance to be back in a WWE ring.
The company could have something great in making a move like this and it would surely prove to be beneficial for not only followers of the business, but for the company itself, too.
With the reception the Divas Division is currently receiving, there seems to be very few answers to its problems of late, but this is undoubtedly one of the most obvious if WWE could make it happen.
Furthermore, as Wrestling Co reports, Trish Stratus has revealed her willingness to the idea of a Team Bestie reunion:
"I think the idea is interesting. 'Team Bestie' is up for anything. If the fans want it, who knows?..."
The fans would definitely want a Team Bestie return, Trish and Lita surely would too, so it is now down to WWE to decide just when, if ever, this epic return will take place.
