Valencia recorded a 2-0 victory over Serie A champions Inter Milan in the opening game of this weekend´s Emirates Cup.
Ruben Baraja set up Jamie Gavilan for the opening goal after 13 minutes before David Villa added the second, minutes before the break.
There was, thankfully, no repeat of the mass brawl which marred their Champions League encounter in March and saw several players handed lengthy bans as well as the clubs heavily fined.
