Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain is happy at the club and has no plans on leaving in the near future, according to his agent.
The Argentine was heavily linked with a move away from Italy over the summer after the club failed to reach the Champions League, but a move away never crossed his mind
After a poor campaign for Napoli, Rafael Benitez departed the club for Real Madrid, and it was believed Higuain would follow suit, with clubs from the Premier League interested in signing him.

Premier League Interest
According to the summer reports, Arsenal and Liverpool were both linked with approaching the Argentine, while Manchester United were also in the market for a new striker.
However, Liverpool landed Christian Benteke from Aston Villa after activating his release clause and United signed Anthony Martial from AS Monaco.
As for Arsenal, they failed to sign anyone after missing out on Karim Benzema.
Changes at Napoli
In a summer of changes, Napoli hired their new boss Maurizio Sarri, and Higuain wanted to stay put to see what life is like under the new boss.
Speaking about the 27-year-old's future, his agent, who is also his brother, spoke about the transfer saga over the summer and admitted that his client is settled in Naples.
Higuain joined the Serie A side after leaving Real Madrid a few years ago, and he has no plans in leaving just yet.
Agent Speaks Out
"He's happy with Sarri," Higuain told Radio Crc. "Everyone wants to play football, and the important thing is that he's calm, he's realised what Sarri wants and now he just has to remain calm and focused.
"It's been a major change and he's responding well to the demands of the coach. Gonzalo is doing the maximum with Sarri."
