John Cena has been the face of the WWE for about a decade now, and his pull shows no sign of decreasing.
Cena gets top billing wherever he goes and always attracts one of the biggest crowd reactions of the night. Even now, holding the lowly United States Championship, he is still the man in the WWE.
Cena Taking Time Off
However, it looks like - for the first time in absolutely forever - Cena is set to take some time off from the WWE in what comes as a major shock.

According to a report from Marc Middleton of Wrestling Inc, the United States Champion is not currently advertised for the post-Hell In a Cell RAW from San Diego or the November 2nd RAW from Denver.
That's not all though. Cena will return for the European Tour that the WWE does every year, but then will be taking time off again and not appearing on further episodes of RAW.
"Cena is also not booked for WWE live events the weekend of October 31st as well," the report states. "Cena will be returning to action on the European tour that begins November 4th but is back off the November 16th and November 23rd RAW."
This is very strange and the timing is awful. The ratings for Monday Night Raw are going down the toilet right now and are the worst they have been since 1997!
With the company's biggest stars being part-timers like Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker, combined with the lack of a real face protagonist that the fans love, the WWE is really struggling. So it is crazy that they would allow Cena to miss some shows.
Whether this is Cena taking time off to rest of as part of a story line is unknown, we will just have to wait to find out.
