Ancelotti plays waiting game

AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti insists the club will not make any "rash signings" despite being relatively inactive in the transfer market so far this summer.

Milan became the final Serie A side to begin their pre-season preparations on Monday, two months to the day since they claimed the Champions League trophy.

He told the club´s own television station Milan Channel: "I have heard that the fans are a little unsettled about the transfer market, which has not got going yet, but I say that it has already started. The fact we are starting with lots of players who were not here last season for various reasons is already a bonus."
