McGhee looks to German players

Published Add your comment

Motherwell boss Mark McGhee has moved closer to securing loan players from the Bundesliga following talks with Wolfsburg boss Felix Magath.

McGhee spent a day with his former Hamburg team-mate after temporarily leaving Well´s Austrian training camp, and he said: "It was a good visit with Felix once again expressing his desire to help us.

"There are a couple of players that he has that could be of interest to us. These players are good enough to go straight into our side but they may need to come over for a period to acclimatise themselves, to ensure they want to come to Scotland as this is a new concept for Bundesliga players."
