New Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster has vowed to "thrill the fans" with some more summer signings.

On Tuesday, Real clinched the signing of 24-year-old Brazilian defender Pepe from Porto while Christoph Metzelder is due to complete his move from Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday. Schuster has already identified Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas as one player he would like to sign but he was more cagey on Tuesday.

"Many players are rumoured to come, but I shouldn´t really mention them because they may not join us in the end," said Schuster. "We are very excited with the men we already have."
